Cheap Polynesian Cultural Center Kama'aina Special!

Kama’aina special for the Polynesian Cultural Center show, which includes a free dinner for only $25.

When I think of the Polynesian Cultural Center, I think of tourists. I never thought I would ever want to go to watch the show because we live in Hawaii and seeing a hula, Tahitian, and Polynesian dance performance is nothing new for us. Living in Hawaii many locals usually wouldn’t pay $80 to watch a show with hula performances which is in La’ie, located on the other side of the island. But when I was watching television the other day, their commercial caught my attention. This is one of the cheapest rates I seen for the Polynesian Cultural Center which is only $25 for Kama’ainas for the evening show including free dinner. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. It’s a great deal and I suggest many local people and families should go out and experience it. It’s a good special that might not come around again.

Aside from the evening show the Polynesian Cultural Center has many other attraction. They have an all you can eat Luau, IMAX Theatre, and village tours of Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Aotearoa, filled with many cultural activites. On a regular basis Kama’ainas only receive 20 percent off of regular retail rates, which may still add up to $60. There are also other specials they provide on their website at www.polynesia.com but aren’t as good of a steal as this one. Hope to see you folks there!

Tickets are available online at www.polynesia.com or you can call and make a reservation at (808) 293-3333. Just mention the special and that you’re a kama’aina.

  1. 25$ for a dinner and a show actually sounds like a good deal. Ive been to the PCC only as a field trip in school and stuff. The deal sounds good and would probly be a fun night if you plan it right. Too far tho

  2. I enjoyed reading your blog about entertainment and food. You seem to enjoy going out and having a good time. You do a good job of giving basic information. I hope you get out to PCC and give us a review of how it went.

  3. I went to PCC when I first came to Hawai'i, and it told me lots of culture about Hawai'i as well as the Polynesian culture. I can tell why people would like to pay $80 for the night because the show was amazing. No doubt it is a place for tourists, but I can tell there is also a place for those who wanna learn more about the island, more about the Pacific.
When I went there, I learnt how Hawaiian ancestors came to Hawai’i, the history of Hawaiian, and rituals. I think it is important for people who live in Hawai’i learn about the island, and it is like you need to learn about your history of your family. The thing I learnt from PCC is important. When I learn their culture and tradition, I know how to respect the land (aina). As a foreigner living in this island, I think this is something I need to know.

  4. The Polynesian Culture Center, also known as PCC, is the best place and tourist attraction where many people go to not only to learn about Hawaii and its culture but the others as well. There's a variety of cultures which you can visit; they can teach the basics and even get you involved in all the fun. The canoe ride around is so beautiful because you can pass every culture and see everyone, a variety of ages no matter what, enjoying their time.
The Gateway and Prime dinning is filled with many ono cultural, traditional foods. After your first plate, you'll be going back and forth for more until it'll close and i guarantee you that. The Night show is also magnificant and so amazing, it;ll take away your breath.
Your day at PCC will make you want to visit again. The best place ever!!
